The Autism Society Philippines (ASP) is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to the well-being of persons on the autism spectrum disorder. We envision a society where Filipinos on the spectrum become the best of their potentials -- self-reliant, independent, productive, socially-accepted citizens of an Autism-OK Philippines.

ASP Family Support Group for March 2010

Share your HOPES and DREAMS with us. We will Listen. ”At first I didn’t quite understand the extent of Gelo’s condition, how autism affected his capacity to learn. I thought it was just something that can be taken cared of by sending him to school,” says Evelyn.

Evelyn juggled between managing her business and going back to UP Diliman to take up Special Education to help Gelo. “This disability (autism) will be a life long challenge our family has to face. I accepted this and learned to cope.”

Meet this month’s FSG facilitator, Evelyn Go. Being a loyal member of ASP for 10 years, Evelyn goes to the next level by serving as Board Member for three terms.
