UP CAMP CTS Program Helps CWAs

The University of the Phillipines College of Allied and Medical Profession (UP-CAMP) invited our chapter, to the Open-House of Center for Therapy Services Pedia (CTS-Pedia), last June 15, 2011.

The participants were administrative staff and representatives from other departments, resident Physical, Occupational, Speech Therapists, and clinical instructors. Other guests were non-UP CAMP visitors.

ASP UP CAMP Manila Chapter President, Elizabeth “Momi Beth” Udquin was invited as guest speaker. She gave her testimonial on the importance of having a collaborative effort between professionals and parent education to ensure the success of programs for children with autism. CWAs Cholo and Tristan, children of Momi Beth, are recipients of the UP CAMP-CTS Pedia therapy programs. Click here to read her testimonial.

Mr. Kristofer Mendoza (PTRP), Program Head of CTS, gave a brief history of the clinic and its accomplishments. He also acknowledged the endeavors of all the people behind the success of the clinic’s programs. Professor Maria Concepcion Cabatan, college dean, also gave an inspirational talk.
