ASP Trustee Peng So leads Family Support Group

Ms. Peng So welcomed five participants in Family Support Group held at the ASP Office National last 20 February 2016. ASPs monthly family support group sessions bring together parents, siblings and other family members to talk about their journey in living with autism. Participants share their experiences and draw enlightenment and strength from others going through the same challenges.

A participant shared this sentiment: “The day I attend the family support I was able to share my experience with other parents. Specially that my daughter is older than their children. We have talk about the reality when you're children is older that sometime you have to look on what she can do that what you want them to be. That we have to be supportive in every step of their way. I thank Mam Peng for sharing her experience to. This kind of sharing should be done in every chapter -- it help us a lot.”
