The Autism Society Philippines (ASP) is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to the well-being of persons on the autism spectrum disorder. We envision a society where Filipinos on the spectrum become the best of their potentials -- self-reliant, independent, productive, socially-accepted citizens of an Autism-OK Philippines.

Educational Assessment and IEP Making Simplified for March 19

Does the Assessment and IEP process seem too complicated or too long?
Are the narratives making it difficult to make an IEP?
What basic information do you need to get from an assessment?
What tools can you use to make the process easier?
How do you decide what to target as goals in an IEP?

These are some of the questions Elizabeth Rey-Matias, MD & PhD, Anna Blanca, PhD and Jason Reyes will address when they share their experiences and knowledge in making IEPs for students in public schools. This whole day seminar-workshop will provide participants the opportunity to practice the simplified process and format for making IEPs on actual cases. This seminar-workshop can be especially helpful for Special Education teachers both in public and private institutions. This may also benefit parents who home-school or implement a home program for their children. Since this is a training workshop, participants will be limited to 30 only.
