The Autism Society Philippines (ASP) is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to the well-being of persons on the autism spectrum disorder. We envision a society where Filipinos on the spectrum become the best of their potentials -- self-reliant, independent, productive, socially-accepted citizens of an Autism-OK Philippines.

Marivic Ramos leads April Family Support Group

ASP Marivic Ramos welcomed participants to the Family Support Group held at Autism Society Philippines National Headquarters last 16 April 2016. ASPs monthly family support group sessions bring together parents, siblings and other family members to talk about their journey in living with autism. Participants share their experiences and draw enlightenment and strength from others going through the same challenges.

Here’s why this batch of parents and family members attended the monthly ASP Family Support group:

1. Learn how autism manifests in other families
2. Learn about how ASP can help families through events and information sharing
3. Share and learns strategies to help our kids with autism
4. Get updates on benefits and developments in our advocacy for better government services.
5. Learn opportunities for PWAs to learn, to have fun and to work
