This lecture will talk about 2 intervention models specific for children with autism spectrum disorder – the DIR/Floortime approach and the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM). The audience will be learning about the (1) basic principles and theory; (2) process and approach; and (3) research and evidence for each of the intervention models or type of focused intervention.
