The Angels Walk for Autism is more than just a walk; it is a celebration of milestones and a testament to the unwavering commitment to building an Autism-OK Philippines. Since its inception in 2000, the walk has evolved into a powerful platform for showcasing the talents of individuals on the autism spectrum. It is a jubilant display of accomplishments and a call to action for public awareness, private sector involvement, and the inclusion of the autism agenda in government social development initiatives.
This year's Angels Walk for Autism is not just a local event but a celebration of our nation's strong familial bonds that have resonated globally. The advocacy has reached communities not only within the Philippines but also across the ASEAN region and the world. With 13,000 members spread across 103 chapters, the Autism Society Philippines has become a beacon of hope and acceptance. This year, the ASP Angels Walk for Autism will also be held simultaneously in Cebu, Iloilo, Davao and Bacolod.
The Angels Walk for Autism expects to draw over 24,000 participants, including families, professionals, and supporters from both the government and private sectors, not only from the Philippines but also from overseas. The walk will kick off at the Mall of Asia Arena, leading participants on a journey to the SM MOA Music Hall.
